What we collect, and what we will never do with it.

Plain version: the free report uses public records and needs almost nothing from you. The deeper report needs your numbers, and those stay yours.

The free report

To build it we need the business name, the city, and an email address to send it to. That is the whole list.

Everything else in that report comes from records that were already public before you contacted us: building permits, Medicare cost reports, federal award records, state sales filings, charitable solicitation registers. We did not need your permission to read them and neither does anyone else, which is the entire point of the exercise.

The deeper report, and your actual numbers

If the first report is useful, we ask for your real figures so we can run the same diagnosis properly. That step is optional, and here is exactly what happens to what you send.

We do not connect to your accounting software

We will never ask you to link QuickBooks, Xero, your bank, your card processor or anything else. You export a file and send it to us. This is deliberate and it protects both of us: taking a live connection to a platform would make us a party to that platform's terms, and those terms commonly restrict what may be done with data drawn through them. A file you exported yourself carries no such string.

We do not train AI on your figures

The reports are produced with AI systems, so this is a fair thing to want in writing. Your files are used to produce your report and for nothing else. They are not used to train, fine-tune, evaluate or improve any model, ours or anyone else's.

Your numbers do not appear in anyone else's report

We compare you against public filings, never against another customer's private figures. If we ever wanted to use your data in a benchmark that others would see, we would ask you first and you could say no without losing anything.

We do not sell it, and we do not share it

Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to partners. The only people who see your files are the people building your report.

How long we keep it

We keep your files while we are working on your reports and for twelve months after the last one, so that a follow-up report can compare like with like rather than starting from nothing. After that we delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner, at any time, and we will do it and confirm it in writing. Ask by replying to any email from us.

This website

We count page visits and which buttons get clicked, because we need to know whether anyone finds this useful. That is first-party counting only. There are no advertising trackers, no third-party marketing pixels, and nothing here follows you to other sites.

We do not sell or share what the site records, and it is not connected to any advertising profile.

The reports themselves

Your report is yours. We publish example reports on this site, and every one of them is built from public records only. We will never publish a report containing figures you sent us, or name you as a customer, without asking you first.

Asking us things

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@scalable-os.com and a person will answer.

When this changes

If we change anything on this page in a way that affects data you have already sent us, we will email you before it takes effect rather than quietly updating the date at the top.
