Get my report

Six questions. Four of them take a word each.

We build the report from your state's lien register, so most of it we find ourselves. The last two questions are the ones no public record answers, and they are the reason the report says something about your business rather than about your industry.

We search the state lien register for this name, so the legal name finds more than the trading name.

We hold full registers for Connecticut and Colorado today.

One report. We do not add you to anything.

This decides which researched thesis the report argues.

One per line. Write these before you read anything we send: the point is what you were already thinking, not a reaction to our list.

Anything you have said publicly about where you are going -- a website, a press mention, a franchise disclosure. \u201cWe publish nothing about this\u201d is a real and complete answer.

Why we ask what you are already considering. We have built this report by hand as well as by machine. Half the time, the move worth leading with was one the owner already had in mind, and the record simply proved it. If we do not ask, we argue our own list at you.

Free. No call, no card, nothing to install.

What happens next

What you get, and what we ask for later

The first report is free and asks nothing of you beyond the form. If it is useful, the second one is where we ask for your actual numbers, and it is also free. Paid work only comes up after both of those have proved themselves.

If we do not hold a register for your state yet, we will say so and keep your name rather than sending you something padded. Where people ask is what decides which state we add next.

How it works

Three steps, and you only pay at the third one.

  1. Step one

You give us a name, we do the rest

The business name and the city is all we need. We find the records your industry files, build the report and send it over. Nothing to install, nothing to sign, no call. If no public record covers you, we tell you that instead of padding something out.

  2. Step two

You send your actuals, we rebuild it

Public records show a great deal and they never show your costs. Send us your real numbers and we run the whole diagnosis again with them in place. This one is far deeper, and it is still free. Your data is the only thing we want for it.

  3. Step three

Deeper reports, when you want them

Different questions need different reports, and those are paid. Each one needs current data from you as well, so you are never buying a second copy of something you already have.
